The Design Engineering Fire Wrap 3000 is constructed from a high temperature resistant braided glass material, woven into a sleeve and heavily coated with 100% silicone rubber, same as the Design Engineering Fire Sleeve, but with the convenience of a hook & loop edge closure design. Simply wrap Fire Wrap 3000 around wires, cables or hoses without the need of disconnecting. The Fire Wrap 3000 provides the ultimate in heat insulation and protection from direct heat up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Use for bundling and protecting hoses, electrical wiring, etc. from high temperatures
- Easy to install with Hook & Loop closure; pliable enough to shape and fit the tightest bends
- Withstands 500 degrees F direct heat
- Provides burn protection during under-hood repairs and maintenance
